NLT Sponsored Walk – 2nd October 2021

After missing out on NLT’s 2020 sponsored walk because of Covid, we are looking forward to the next one which is on Saturday 2nd October. It will take place in Vicar of Dibley territory, starting and finishing at Ibstone Common (HP14 3XY by the cricket pitch – free parking by the common) just 1.7 miles south of junction 5 of the M40. It will pass through Turville Village – made famous by the ‘Vicar of Dibley’ television series, and will also pass Cobstone Windmill which featured in the film ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’. The walk will be around 10 miles long and is set in beautiful countryside. All we need is some nice weather to go with it, and some people to join in with the walk and help raise some funds for NLT’s work with people affected by leprosy in Nepal. Donations or sponsorship support can be made through the Give.net button on the Home page or by clicking HERE , or by any other of the usual means. If you can come for the walk, even if you can’t find any sponsors, it would be lovely to see you. If you can’t join us, then you can still click on the link and support NLT.

So, meet at 10.15am for a 10.30am start on Saturday 2nd October, at HP14 3XY, Ibstone Common (by the cricket pitch). Free parking by the common.

Please come and join us for a lovely walk, some good company, and catch up with NLT news. Bring a packed lunch and there may be some additional edible treats to enjoy as well.

See you there!
