The sun very definitely had his hat on!
We had our walking shoes on and off we went.
Matthew guided us around Great Windsor Park and Virgina Waters. Stopping only for refreshments (Mildred’s scones with Jam and cream) and to admire the various points of interest such King George 3rd statue, Totem Pole, Obelisks etc. We walked for about 10 miles and certainly didn’t do all of the park.
Does this call for another NLT family walk?
It might be a nice idea to do Windsor Park in all the seasons and see how it grows and blossoms throughout the year.
My question is: Could it ever be as nice as Isabella Plantation in the middle of Richmond Park?
