The meeting time for the sponsored walk on the 23rd September is now 10:30am by the Burnham Beeches Cafe for a 10:45am start. (Post code SL2 3PS, see map below).

Burnham Beeches is north of Slough, on the west side of the A355 which goes north from Junction 6 of the M4. From the A355 turn left on Beeches Road and this will take you into Burnham Beeches.

The cafe is on the left side down the entrance lane, beyond several car parks that are also on the left. We will do a figure of eight walk in the morning around Burnham Beeches aiming to meet back on the common area by the cafe/carpark at 12:45pm for a bring-your-own picnic lunch. After lunch we’ll do a slightly longer circular walk through the Beeches out to Littleworth Common returning to cafe about 3:30pm. The intention being that people can join us for one or both of the walks and we are all together over lunch. We hope to finish with a cream tea at about 3.30 to 4.00pm.

Do come and join us if you can. It would be great to have you along! If you can’t, perhaps you would like to sponsor us. The walk will raise much needed funds to help with various aspects to NLT’s work, especially with relief for damage to the homes of the very poor by the recent flooding.
